Giants Table offers self-catering accommodation in Maydena en route to Tasmania's magnificent South West region. The Giants' Table and Cottages are situated at the edge of the magnificent Tasmanian wilderness. Located on the banks of the beautiful Tyenna River you will be surrounded by trees and mountains. Choose one of the cosy one to five bedroom self-contained cottages, which are spacious and comfortably furnished and a lovely surprise after a day of exploring the Styx Forest, the Florentine Valley, Mount Field and Russell Falls or Lake Pedder and the Gordon Dam. Experience the wonderful on-site licensed a la carte restaurant appropriately known as the Giants' Table given the closeness to the entrance to the famous Giant Trees. You will be surrounded by abundant wildlife, a highlight being a family of platypus just outside your cottage doors living in their natural habitat.

    Great and convenient accomadation close to the bike park. Well priced and helpful staff. Will be my choice if I return to Maydena.

    Very homely accommodation, especially for cavers from further away who want a good night's sleep after a long day of caving and can't just drive back home. The rooms and lounge were nice, warm and cozy. The food prepared for us was simply amazing and delicious. Lindy was an amazing host. Everything was well prepared for us even if we were late. The only thing that needs attention is that some of the internal doors didn't close or lock up proper.

    Beautiful Moutain fully contained cabins with huge beds and and spare room and beds, a bath tub and shower, Take your own food, Theyre Restraunt is very hippy, no meat, unless you you pre order it/ 24 hours ahead. But the cabins have everything a house needs. WiFi isn't the best. No Shop. Servos near by, and Juvee Caves and historical sites at the end of the street, sum free camping at end of road near Juvee Caves.

    Last minute decision to stay at Giants Table but turned out to be the best part of our holiday. Very relaxing, lovely comfortable cabin with heaters in the main area, lounge room, bedroom and bathroom along with electric blankets. Very warm and cosy. Didn't even have to cook as the owners have ready made meals you can buy and reheat (big servings and really tasty). Only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer! Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back :)

    The owner was very accommodating with our last minute booking, and went out of her way to get a room ready for us. The cottage we stayed in was clean and comfortable.
