Classic Cottages S/C Accommodation offers three budget cottages, holiday accommodation at Port Arthur, on Tasmania's East Coast. We offer holiday house accommodation at Port Arthur and on the Tasman Peninsula, all self-contained and all near the waterfront, and some with wood fires. Fully equipped, the cottages sleep up to 6 people. Overlooking the historic Long Bay shoreline, the cottage is only metres from the water in a peaceful bushland setting. Nearby are state forests and Fortescue Bay National Park, the lavender farm and cafe , the highest sea cliffs in Australia and the Three Capes; Raoul, Pillar and Huay. The cottages are within easy access to pristine beaches, penguin colonies and walking tracks and a few minutes from Port Arthur Historic Site, restaurants and shops, Tasmanian Devil Unzoo at Taranna and Federation Artisan Chocolate. Well-behaved pets are welcome. You can play golf, swim, kayak, bush walk, surf, fish, scuba dive, cycle only a few minutes away if you come with your equipment. Pick your own wild oysters from the shoreline (at your own risk). Port Arthur is a one-hour-and-20-minute drive (95 km) from Hobart , 40 minutes from the Airport....

    Great place to stay when checking out the Port Arthur Historic Site (which is only a short drive away). Clean and exceptionally cozy with a great settlers cottage feel and views over a calm bay. Friendly, kind and relaxed owners who made sure we felt at home.

    Such a relaxing and inviting place to unwind from the stresses of modern life! Great location minutes from everywhere. The cottage is well equipped with all you need to get away from it all!!

    We booked for 2 nights and stayed 4a few days ago ; The Port Arthur Cottage is a large house , we had our own drive , garden. House is very bright ,very clean. Wood fire keep us very warm. We had games to play and Dvd's. we were very close to Port Arthur and The National park too Denis had printed a list of all activities around Port Arthur and we were not able to do All ... We loved the area , the Cottage , Denis & Raquel , the sound of the birds , the fresh air. We booked already for a week next year.
