  It was a delight and a privilege to stay in Landfall Cottage on Gunning St, Richmond, TAS. My husband and I enjoyed three nights there in September this year. Peta, our host, has equipped the house with character-filled furnishings as well as homely touches. It's like a home away from home, with anything and everything you need on hand. Information brochures, DVD's, books, puzzles and magazines are available to occupy any spare time you might have. Fully equipped with a washing machine and dryer (including detergent and pegs for the clothesline), as well as a full-kitchen with generous breakfast supplies included, it lacks nothing. We used the barbecue out near the back terrace for several meals. The cottage is in a quiet location but is still well within walking distance of the pretty historic Richmond township (and I have difficulty in walking). The village has all services including a supermarket, service station, bakery and specialty shops. We have no hesitation in recommending Peta and 'Cottage on Gunning' to future guests.
