Let's start by saying ?she's? truley unique.
The ?Old School? like most call her, was formerly Septimus State School. After her days of nurturing little ones she has founded Read More...her new purpose; she now accommodates people wanting a quiet and relaxing getaway.
Our delightful home still retains the outer appearance of the 1960's school, whilst inside has been tastefully transformed into luxurious king and queen rooms, each with it's own ensuite. Our exclusive boutique Bed and Breakfast style accommodation is perfect for that romantic getaway or small group gathering, with only two sleeping quarters appointed for overnight guests.
We offer the use of full kitchen facilities and common lounge/dining room, along with a large undercover outdoor area with BBQ facilities, which in it's former time, acted as the schools ?shelter shed' for hosting assemblies. For those cooler days in need of a cosy area to retreat to, her enclosed verandah screams with warmth, allowing you to soak up the sun and views through abounding windows.
For overnight guests, a choice of cooked or continental breakfast provisions is available.

You can find us nestled among the rolling hills and flowing cane fields that surround the small town of Septimus, in the heart of the Pioneer Valley. Encircled by natural beauty, big skies, open spaces and clean air, the ?Valley? has so much to offer and it's right at our doorstep! With local cafe's, art galleries, novelty shops, national parks, rainforest and platypus viewing, just to name a few, you won't be short on things to do. If that all sounds too much, just sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet, recharge the batteries and re-frame your priorities.

Our mud is 100% natural and is sourced right here in Queensland. It is derived from Artesian Springs formed by Great Artesian Basin Water that wells up through sedimentary rocks and Alluvia*. The mud is a result from the water travelling through the rocks and alluvia, capturing the minerals along the way and forming a silt & clay like formation.
