Windana Cottages offer two comfortable self-contained semi-detached cottages, each with two bedrooms and excellent amenities. Outdoor furniture, barbecue and a single carport is provided for each cottage. Windana offers panoramic mountain views towards Wilpena Pound and surrounding ranges in a relaxed pastoral setting two kilometres from the facilities of Hawker. Windana is well placed for day trips throughout the Flinders Ranges. Our visitors return at day’s end to enjoy the tranquillity and soft hues of the surrounding landscape, relaxing in their cottage outdoor area. Astronomy enthusiasts enjoy our vast and usually clear night skies. The Mawson Trail passes by Windana, and walkers on the Heysen Trail also base themselves here.
